We believe that protecting the planet we live on should be top priority for everyone. Buying product that is manufactured locally has several benefits. The three main reasons Edify seeks out product that is made in the USA is because it provides greater transparency, improves sustainability, and helps support the local economy. Keeping production processes within our own country also allows companies to ensure that worker's rights are being upheld.
Products that are BIPOC-Owned come from artists, makers, brands and companies that are run by a Black, Indigenous, or Person(s) of Color. At Edify it is our intent to feature the art or products of BIPOC communities with a goal to end racism in the fashion industry. We have hand-picked and highlighted BIPOC-Owned product to make it easier for you to allocate your purchasing power accordingly. In being a conscious consumer it is critical to support, empower, and celebrate these communities.
Products that are Women-Owned come from artists, makers, brands, and companies that are at least 51% owned and operated by one or more women. Edify is a woman-owned company and our founder Rachel believes in lifting as many women up in business as possible. A majority of the product on our website comes from women-owned brands, artists, and makers. "

Chemicals that are used in the fabrics on our clothing and the ingredients that make up our skincare products can be harmful on both you and the environment. We have sourced out brands who are doing their best to eliminate the use of toxic pesticides and plastics. Through the use of organic cotton, denim, hemp, and bamboo these brands are doing what it takes to keep chemicals away from the things you hold so close.
