KORISSA was founded in 2017 by two Interior Designer moms living in New York City. The company was founded with a goal of offering environmentally and socially responsible handmade goods and encouraging the modern shopper to purchase consciously.
KORISSA partners with four artisans organizations in Bangladesh that operate according to fair trade principles to create conscious products made from eco-friendly and sustainable materials. They are committed to building up relationships with their artisans, while working together to preserve the culture and history while providing our artisans access to fair wages, broader markets, and secure, sustainable livelihoods.
